How to snug up a loose lock up on a tx200mk3

Checked my lock up tonight while I had the gun apart because of shifts in poi. Replaced breech seals and all is better for 40-50 shots then back to poi shifts. Shimmed the breech seals and that works a little better but tears the breech seals up quickly. Having the gun apart I checked lock up and the cocking arm will lay up against the barrel is turned upside down and I can push the compression chamber with my finger easily forward and see a gap at my cocking shoe. Can I just shim the cocking shoe? I know breech seals are cheap but changing the top one every 50 or so shots is silly. What would be your fix? This rifle is 2 months old with about 3000 shots threw it.
Thanks for any advice.

Butch,
I bought an aftermarket cocking shoe for my TX200 that fixed that frequently reported issue. I don't know if you can find them these days, but it's worth looking for one...

Air Rifle Headquarters sells a machined steel cocking shoe that should solve your problem. The seem to move back and forth between the "Tune Kits" section and "Today's Specials". He makes a batch of them and sells until stock is gone. He'll then wait months before making another batch. If they're out of stock there's no guarantee he'll make any more.
You can get the same effect by shimming the cocking shoe just a bit. I found 0.020" worked for me with a stock cocking shoe. That could vary by gun of course.

Tried ARH and do not see the cocking shoe listed. So I guess I’m gonna try shimming the shoe today.
Any suggestions on the shimming?
Thanks.

As you're already aware the cocking arm serves a twofold function - it cocks the gun then it returns the compression tube to battery.
I took a tiny piece of plumbers' strap (perforated strip of galvanized steel) and shaped it to fit between the front of the cocking shoe slot and the cocking arm.
It was carefully bent so it would not fall out. Another member actually brazed a shim into the front of the shoe. I found 0.020" was the perfect thickness for my gun. To check for thickness remove the ball latch from the barrel. Cock the gun. Invert the gun and see if the cocking handle goes clear to the barrel on its own. The breech seal should hold the cocking handle a bit away from the barrel such that the ball latch holds the handle in battery placing pressure against the seal. The shim in the cocking shoe is to compensate for cascaded play in the linkage.

Tom you were right on with the .020 sim. I just got done with it and now have a perfect lockup. What I did was brazed the front of the shoe with a broze rod then filed to fit.
Thanks for all your help.
