Which Pellet?

(1/4) > >>

REDHAWK44:
As a general rule what brands of pellets for a 22 are the most consistant in most spring air rifles ? I know this has been asked A million times.

AHMSA:
I find JSB Heavy 18.3 gr to be a consistent and accurate pellet in most of my springers.

PelletsForPests:
JSB 15.89 for springers.

18.13 is good, but heavier pellets reduce spring longevity as a rule of thumb. My 54 loves both, but I think the 15.89s have a slight edge in long range shooting without flyers (for whatever reason) and an obvious edge in flat trajectory given the constant power of a springer.

SteveP-52:
JSB, H&N, RWS Superdomes...all 3 work well in the 10 .22's I have.

I second RWS Superdomes in both .177 and .22. They almost always give me the best energy/accuracy ratio.

Though I'm finding that my newer Crosman Vantage NPs really like the H&N FTT...
