No offense Bob but to me its a waist of time.I shoot 100+ yards a lot when the weather is right and have shoot some good and some bad groups with low to mid tier guns. I got lucky a few times and would qualify for the club if I had submitted it but I didn't because to me there is nothing special about getting lucky.Being lucky and being consistent is two different things. Also their is no way to verify that the target submitted is legitimate. With that being said I myself question the credibility of the club itself. I am sure there are a lot of great shooters in the club with just as many if not more lucky/dishonest ones. With no way to weed them out the credibility of the club is in question. I do realize this is just for fun but that's how I feel.Am I looking at this right??
Wow Kevin slow your roll dude!Bob asked what happened to NUAH. I told him why I didn't enter the NUAH competitions.I think you missed my point regarding THIS contest.I was pointing out that THIS contest has a lot of room for dishonestly and I didn't feel that I would be worthy of membership by shooting one lucky target. No one is saying that all shooting matches or shooters are dishonest so calm down.I am sorry you are taken this so personal!
I have to agree, trying to better YOUR OWN previous best is what NUAH Monthly Matches is all about, IMO.... That is the reason cheating is just not something to worry about!....Bob
