Tim had his EXTREME Bench rest rifle in Placerville at the AG show @ 2 years ago ... IIRC it was a .30 cal bullet shooter.
There valve design and available hammer energy to open valve would need some attention at these elevated power levels and again IIRC Timmy had some serious added on weight to the gun hammer to deal with it.
Just some FYI until Tim finds this post. ( * He just moved his shop in the past few weeks and likely super busy )

Yeah, I found some older articles about that. I thought it was a pellet shooter though. No matter! It was more of a informational probe that I'm in no rush for an answer- I have too many things on my plate as it is (as usual

Yes. Experiments only so far. Bullet shooting takes enormous air volume and pressure. The reality is it is much more difficult to make drag stabilized pellets make accuracy down range. The superior ballistics of a bullet vs pellet is why the bullet shooters compete at 200 yards where the pellet shooters are @ 100 yards.
