Sometimes we buy an airgun that for whatever reason won't pump air. I've run into this problem a few times. Sometimes it's the pump cup not sealing, check valve not doing it's job or some other reason. This has worked for me. Put some hydraulic air tool oil behind the pump or in my case I also put it in the air hole and I try to get some oil down where the air comes out to push the pellet. I let it sit about 20 minutes, that's the longest I can wait. Position pump cup just above the airhole, I then use my 5 hp compressor to pressurize the air tube . I then cock and dry fire the airgun. If it fires good and strong, I then try pumping the airgun if it doesn't build pressure then it's probably your pump cup. If your air rifle is going swoosh through the barrel pressurizing the air tube will most times fix this problem. You might have to do this more than once. The reason I believe this works is because you get a continuous supply of air in the air tube in comparison to pumping. Don't try if you are afraid to damage something.
