I spent this morning with my peep sighted 30S and this afternoon with my Diana 34. Tomorrow is probably gonna' be with my HW50S. I too am growing weary of the larger guns; i.e., my R9 and blue HW97K. Inasmuch as my shooting is limited to 30 yards off the bench, I'm tending more to my 30S' and R7.

I'm no spring chick anymore, and although strong for a small woman, they get heavy. For the pure pleasure of it, the HW30 and R7 can't be beat, but for the type of pesting I do, which was one of my primary objectives from the start, the R1s can't be beat, as far their ability to knock down and do it accurately.

The C1 carbine I have been using for 30yrs. primarily as a vermin gun is still a favorite. I have treated it (& myself) to a beautiful Walnut stock and a Beeman compact scope many years ago. Still a favorite.
I really enjoy midsized guns. From the top:R9 (IMO the midsized upper limit)HW50SWebley VulcanRWS 27HW30SSilver StreakI wish I had pictured the BSA Supersport SE, another midsized gun around the size of the HW50S but lighter. [smg id=5922]

What defines a "mid sized gun"? I doubt I have a "Full Sized" one to compare unless it would be my B19 Crosman Genesis...Overall Length 44.5"Weight 7.44 lbs
