I have the Air Venturi and it is a solid compressor with lots of support if need be. I have not had any issues with mine. Seems like I have had it near a year now? I don't fill my guns with it. I only fill my 30 min/44cf and 60 min/88cf 4500 psi tanks with it, plus others on rare occasions. It will top them off fairly fast, and all the way to 4500 psi without a struggle. It doesn't heat up the tanks either, which I like so I don't lose pressure later from heat buildup.I have been using it a lot more these days with my big bore gun as it gobbles up a lot of air. I am glad I chose the Air Venturi compressor. It's a real workhorse and is not overly loud either when using it in my garage.
My fill time from 3000 to 4500 is about 25 min, I do drain the moisture trap every 6 min though, fill time would be faster if I did it every 15 min like the manual suggests.
I'm looking at getting a tank that hold 4500 and getting a compressor to fill that. And sometimes just my guns when I'm shooting at the house.I want to make sure I get something to keep the moisture out of the guns too.I've got a question about keeping air in the guns.... While I'm pretty sure it's not a good thing to keep my PCP's air tube at Max. Pressure when I'm not shooting it. It makes me think that it's probably not a good thing to keep your air tube empty when it's idle. What amount of pressure do you think is good to keep in the air tube when the gun is not in use? Thanks, Ron
