Has krale / UPS started charging additional fees on the German guns shipped to the US or is it just Chinese products. I ask because there seems to be some discussion of this on the Air gun Nation. I bought an HW35E last month and it was a simple Rifle 539.00 + 52.00 shipping I want an HW50 but I'm worried about new fees folks are talking about. I've emailed Krale , but have not received an answer.

I don’t think it’s Krale who charges extra; it’s the US customs.

I don't know friends. If a few dollars added to your purchase will make or break your wallet, perhaps right now isn't the best time for you to afford this new rifle. If you do get your new rifle, pull it out of the box, enjoy setting it up and call some friends for a range day. Airguns come in all prices and types. Surely there's one out there for you when you can purchase it guilt free. Orv.

As far as I can trend it, Krales prices are still very competitive, and if I read it correctly, less than AoA and Pyramyd. The other thing to consider is that Krale will get it to you faster than from a US vendor!

If you want the HW50S, jump on it right now, from Krale, in whatever caliber you choose.

Why didn't you buy the HW 50 at the same time as the HW 35? The shipping cost would be the same for both guns. Even without tariffs, you would be paying the shipping cost twice.
Whenever I order from Krale, I load up the cart to only pay shipping costs once.

Good call Yogi, I just didn’t think that far ahead. I’ll call this a lesson learned and give PA a call, the new catalog I got yesterday says they have them . They will cost a bit more, but are sent free shipping.

I just sent off another email to a particular person that I know at Krale, and sent links to this thread and the other from AGN.

We'll see how he responds to this. It may not be Krale themselves. Perhaps they are not even aware of this.

If the trade war calms down and tarrifs are lowered this problem should also be again in the past. It is also alone with products that come from China like snowpeak. No worries about Weihrauch for example.

It is off course not entirely true what the guy on the forum says about batteling to get his money back. If he does not want it anymore due to the tarrifs it can just come back to the company and he will be refunded. (minus shipping) Hopefully it will be back to business as usual within a not to long period.

Thanks for making us aware of the thread and I will see if we can track the customer to help him with this.

AOA raised the price of the HW98; I got mine in mid-April and paid I think $648, it's now $780. Pretty sure this is tariff-related. You're going to pay more no matter where you order from...

I just checked the price of an HW98 on Krale, and their prices are still competitive with AoA, etc. and with much faster shipping.

Given that I have had better consumer performance from Krale (especially faster shipping), I would be tempted to buy another Weihrauch from them before any other vendor.

However, I think my Weihrauch closet is pretty much filled.

Just saying...... Don't give up on Krale.

Hi, I bought a HW98 from Krale on Monday June 2, got it in my house in Miami, FL Wednesday June 4. No Custom fees. Price was $707.48, UPS shipping $55.89 for a total $763.37.
For what I can see at least on "non Chinese" stuff there is no upmarking due to tariffs. What is hurting us more is the weaker dollar value. The exchange rate is not good at all.

I hope you bought other stuff as well. Their shipping cost is fixed so easy to add other stuff.

Please post pictures when it arrives. Love the "bull" barrel on the HW 98.

Thanks Yogi, I have it here! On that order I bought some pellets too. Package wasn't good. It came with a very small scratch on the left side of the frontstock.
