So here is the quote of the email reply from my insider at Krale, and following, his approval for use of such. I truly believe that Krale is not involved in these upcharges, and that they are sincere in their efforts to provide customer satisfaction.

It is off course not entirely true what the guy on the forum says about batteling to get his money back. If he does not want it anymore due to the tarrifs it can just come back to the company and he will be refunded. (minus shipping) Hopefully it will be back to business as usual within a not to long period.
Thanks for making us aware of the thread and I will see if we can track the customer to help him with this.

I changed over to an Apple Computer 10 years ago because of all the trouble I was having at the time with Windows.
I still have little things I don't like but things are still working and the files/pictures are where they belong. I have evolved to all external drives which are not directly connected during upgrades.
Sorry to hear about all the truble with computer systems but it is sort of just where life is now !
I messed up my laptop trying to cave in and finally do the update. When I finally went to just go ahead and update, I discovered that my storage space had been maxed out with a bunch of repeated routine update attempts. I deleted a ton of random stuff trying to make space and apparently I deleted whatever software it requires in order to download things for upgrade. I can't update chrome or anything.
This is just a cheap student grade Dell latitude, so that may have something to do with it. I pretty much only use it to watch videos / movies, view schematics, and get a better look at sellers pictures on Ebay so it's really not that important. My phone pretty much does everything else I need the internet for.
Thanks y'all.. Best part is that when Killer went to the nursing home the state made him sell the place. His nephew took out a loan and bought it. We agreed to pay him rent until that loan was paid off. In 7 more months that loan will be paid and we live rent free until we both die. Then it goes back to the family. Nick continues to pay all taxes and insurance and we provide the upkeep. Nick works out of state on the pipeline and other than pictures, has not even seen what we have done. He told us that we are free to do whatever we wanted to do to it as far as changes and modifications. This arrangement allows us to live very comfortably on our fixed income.
Sounds like a great deal to keep housing costs down.

My wonderful spouse made grilled chicken for herself and a chop for me. We had sautéed yellow squash, zucchini, onions, and tomatoes along with steamed cabbage all from our garden.

For my 2D CAD drawings I've been using QCAD PRO for several years on my Linux software. Similar to AutoCad without the required expensive updates and QCAD will read/write in native Acad DWG format however I do prefer to work/save in the DXF format. I haven't used it yet but QCAD also has QCAD/CAM software that can export Gcode for solid modeling.
