I know this is an odd question to ask but I recently bought a used wildcat .22 (awaiting its arrival). The seller said it was tuned by Peter just before he went out of business and that he barely used it.
I'm not overly concerned since I bought it from a trusted member and he assured me the rifle was dead accurate with no issues. Just trying to learn everything possible about my new gun.

Most of Peter's tunes were actually done by my friend Russ Cronk. Peter would bring Russ the guns to tune or repair and pick them up the following week. Russ is a very talented guy but is not on the forums.

That's great to hear, thanks Nick. I know one part of the tune involved drilling the rear of the shroud to make the rifle quieter? I have pictures of it and it looks like it was done with care. All the holes are evenly spaced, in a nice pattern and cleanly drilled. It's the little details that count!
