Plainsman 175 question

I would like to rebuild these two Plainsman BB pistols while I am awaiting seals for my Smith & Wesson 78G. I am missing hand grips and the 4 screws to fasten them to the top gun. Are these parts readily available? I tried to load the top gun with a small cylinder (like the bottom one takes) but the end cap missed the co2 cylinder by a lot. A full sized cylinder fits perfectly. Does that sound right? You can see that the end cap is much shorter on the Plainsman that takes the smaller cylinder. Are these things complicated to reseal? Thanks, Al

I added a couple more pictures to show the difference in the end caps. Notice that the taller one is hollow almost to the bottom and the other is solid almost to the top.

Can you swap caps between guns and then use either size cartridge in either gun?

Yes, they seem to be interchangeable so I can use either size cartridge in either gun. Now, I just have to get them resealed. I might have to use the hand grips on the complete gun as a pattern to make a pair out of walnut for the other. Al
