I got a wild hair last year and found a pellet pistol from my youth, the 717, then shortly thereafter got another from my youth, the 1377.
The 717 was used but in good shape, even had the box. I actually think the one I shot as a kid was the 727, but this was close enough.
The 1377 is a brand new one, and of course I immediately added all kinds of stuff to it, Buckrail silencer, larger pump, and even have a cylinder kit I haven't added yet. Plus another thing or two that escapes me.
Anyway, I have not made time to shoot them much, certainly haven't sighted them in. I'm only keeping one, and I guess you can tell which one. Not because of the quality of either one, I'm a simple man and only need one air pistol.
Between the two, which do you prefer? Could you let go of one, or insist on making room for both?

I have had one or two 1377's (still have one) and had a 1322, but have never been lucky enough to come across a Daisy Target Pistol.
What's not to like? Sounds like a keeper! Both! jmho

I have a rear cocker 1377 and 717 from the mid 80's. The 1377 has been up graded and 717 is still original. I will never part with either one, they were my first pellet guns I ever owned. They have survived moves, a divorce, and a CAT 5 hurricane.

I'm a bigger fan for crosman products but out of the two, I would be ok letting the 1377 go only because they still make the 1377 and I could get another one or get a custom shop model
