Congrats on the new gun Paul. I think you will love it. Quote from: avator on June 09, 2017, 08:48:08 AMCongrats...Further proving these things are hit or miss. And I don't know about that. All of the reports I've heard this year have indicated that the new 392s seem to be hit or hit. I've only heard good things. The only negative reports lately have been from those who don't actually own one.

I gave it a good cleaning put the site on and this gun is not as bad as I thought it would be mine had very little paint in the end of the barrel and shoots really good and the trigger on mine is very nice so I guess I got a good one
Mine also has a good trigger. A little creepy and yet it has definite break points. Also an absolute hammer with the right pellets, though I've not found a bad pellet yet for mine. The Gamo Redfires are actually working really well, but I need to buy a few more flavors of .22 including some WC.

I'm wondering if it's more the case of WHO buys it, not whether they hit a good one or not. I bought a new 392 last month and it was initially a disappointment, but only because I started shooting it right out of the box like I would guess most buyers would. But after the simple and well-known fix of removing the paint overspray from the bore at the muzzle, mine shot like a champ and I'm very happy with it.My 392, to an uninformed buyer, was a miss. But to a buyer who reads GTA, a hit!
OUTSTANDING PAUL!Glad you are happy with your choice, CONGRATS!Quote from: cidd on June 09, 2017, 08:02:46 AM I gave it a good cleaning put the site on and this gun is not as bad as I thought it would be mine had very little paint in the end of the barrel and shoots really good and the trigger on mine is very nice so I guess I got a good one Quote from: anti-squirrel on June 09, 2017, 12:07:14 PMMine also has a good trigger. While my '15 Beji 392 doesn't carry a Blue Streak pedigree, it is a darn nice Airgun for what they cost new today.Continually condemning an entire model line, that I believe you has ever owned, just doesn't ever seem fair.
New 392s get bashed and I was skeptical. Got me a refurb from AirGunDepot for 99 bones and put a peep on it. Cleaned it out, swabbed the end for paint, little oil, some break in, and she is a great gun! Love shooting heavy lead in it. 21 grain Baracudas putting out 14 or 15 ft lbs I think. Trash bandit critters lookout. Glad I gambled.
OK guys I'm new to this and I'm looking for the best pumper I can get I want a rifled barrel for pellets 177 or 22 mostly for target shooting and plinking and right now I'm in information overload !! I have a Benjamin marauder that's semi custom in 177 / Benjamin trail NP in 22/ a Hatsan striker in 177 / and a beeman QB chief in 177. so I figured a good pumper was in order so do they make any good ones or are they all cheap &^^& nowadays ?
