I have a bunch of the white lettered tins, came from Tractor Supply but there's nothing on the tins to say what weight they actually are
the gold ones are 9.8the white lettered ones are made by Gamo. my scale is showing 7.6 gr. that is a big difference
I have heard bad reports on these ... are they still 9.8grs or are they less ? Airgun Depot has them saying they are 9.8grs ... Is that true ? I called Airgun Depot and they said their tins had white lettering ?wll

I called Airgun Depot and they said their tins had white lettering ?wllI weighed a few at random from the "gold & red lettered tins" and this was their weight..........I've read that the newer ones are different, however I have no first hand knowledge. As a side note, the old 9.7ish grain Win domes didn't shoot very accurately from my .177 Beeman R9 (has a rather loose leade), however they shot pretty good from my HW95 which has a tighter leade (6 shots, one to compensate for the shooter induced flier). I didn't adjust the scope from my CPL setting since I was only checking the grouping ability..........
At the risk of dog piling, the tin of white lettering I tried was garbage. Over 1” groups at 25 yards in every rifle I tried, some significantly worse.
