Another vote for Hawke® Airmax with Sportsmatch® mounts.
hey i was wondering in your opinion what you guys think the best scope for a magnum springer is or just springers in general I've been looking at some leapers and hawke scopes also what is your favorite magnification?-thanks Jay
UTG has a good warranty as long as you don’t tell them it was ona springer. Then the will tell you that only the True Hunter and Bugbuster can be use on a springer. When my second Accushot failed, they would only replace it with their lesser value items mentioned above. And as luck would have it the True Hunter failed on a pumper. I am more likely to just cut my losses and throw it away as apposed to suffer more of their “Product.”

AoA told me there was nothing wrong with the rifle and suggested I put a Nikon EFR on there. I splurged for more expensive Nikon and I quickly learned that cheap scopes cost more than quality ones.

With Chinese scopes everyone's experience is different. I have several Leapers scopes on high powered air rifles and I've had no problems in three years of regular use. I killed a Hammers scope with a lot of abuse on Onager springers but my cheap CenterPoints, Winchesters, and UTGs just keep on going.Go figure.
A tin a week will define a scopes build in short time for sure. I just got one of these knock off recoil reducers, put the best cheap scope I have on it, I will regret this if I break that scope, but here goes the proof test.https://www.ebay.com/itm/223608464302?

Regular use is subjective. It could be five shots a month, every month because the gun is used for pesting. For me regular use might be a 500 tin of pellets or more a week for months at a time. Several times I've mowed through a tin in a day on the same gun. I'll sit and shoot for five or six hours at a time. I believe most of the folks here don't shoot as much as I do and therefore don't have the same failures I've encountered.Be well Ron

I have had good luck with a Hammer scope with one pice mount on my Ruger Air magnum. Magnum rated with lifetime warranty. I wouldn't say they are the best but for the money they are hard to beat.

There is a member here who says he has had 5 and every one failed, but mine have held up on any springer I mount them on.
