New HW 90
Gorshi:
I was tempted to buy a new gun. My first choice was HW 80 SLK with new stock. But finally I ordered HW 90 in .22 cal. I know there is some controversy about this gun but I want to try this special gas ram based on Theoben system. It was expensive as *(&^, so I hope I will like it like my old HW 80. ;)
I plan to switch the pressure immediately to 22 bar and use JSB Jumbo 15,89 gr pellets.
Any other recommendations from you, experienced shooters / HW 90 users?
Thanks!

Great gun. I had a 20 cal RX1. It's the same gun just with the Beeman branding. I also have a R1 (HW80) in 177,20 & 22. I like the RX1 much more. Try the H&N FTTs in yours. I've had much better luck with them in 22 Weihrauch barrels than any JSB. I think the JSB skirts are too soft.
Bridger3:
Great choice, once you set it up how you like it and make sure you keep the screws tight.
Crowman:
I have all the calibres in the HW90. The .25 cal. was the first Weihrauch I purchased. Never despised a rifle so much. Sat in a rack for 2 yrs. Did some reading, got pump and gauge and a .20 cal. Turned down to 18 bar. Night and day difference. The .20 launched a JSB 13.?? 780 fps.
A few months ago I scooped the .177 and .22 cal. but haven’t shot them.
IMO these guns are masterpieces of Wiehrauch. Literally dial a gun.
Don’t have the knowledge like many members here.
When I have a free day I would like to run them all through crony, 22 bar down by 2’s to 14 bar and record.
Good luck. Crow

Thanks guys! I will let you know how shooting goes with HW 90. 👍
I like the fact of resettable safety and power tuning options. I hope these features will be nice for hunting - mainly rats and feral pigeons.
I was also thinking about.25 cal but preorder would took around 10 - 12 months so .22. cal was reasonable choice - still solid stopping power and flatter trajectory.
