Good to know I won't end up with hourdes of them organizing and over running the homestead! LOL! 😂 You are the only person I know that gets more than one species of rats plus you get mice occasionally! But you also get bears, coons, bob the cats, pumas, possums, squirrels, coyotes, birds of all sorts, wooly mammoths 😂....you certainly have the most diverse menagerie of wonderful creatures I've seen! Very envious in a good way as I do luv nature! 🙏 Do you have iguanas in your neck of Fl.!?Nope, no iguanas this far north! We do have alligators, but no pythons or anaconda's! I know there are Panthers in the panhandle, but have not seen one on the critter cams... Not yet anyway! I did see an otter one time last summer, but not since. There very well could be a whooly mammoth as well, but I'm thinking he's pretty shy!!! ;-)

Nice shooting! That was good size one for sure.
Randall , Paul , good to see action from everyone . I had backed off on my barn rat activity for a couple weeks, as it slowed down so much. I started to get my other field guns ready for other critters & pests , namely the " Pennsylvania Grizzly " ( woodchuck/ groundhogs ),starlings & sparrows . The pigeons have given me wide berth & the crows have not given me the opportunity yet. I popped a few sparrows at the bluebird condo already. Went to the barn Sunday evening to check out the vermin. Found more mice moving than ever before and I'm thinking they've been enabled now that the rat population is down. I did score on one small juvenile rat (#95 ) & a couple mice ( wow , really small fast targets !! ). I think I'll concentrate on the field critters for a bit now till warmer weather sets in for good here. I've got one g-hog w/ air & nine more w/ traps. I get my exercise this way by shoveling holes shut after removing critters and placing the carcass out in the fields to feed the eagles , ravens & vultures . Keep shootin 'guys & catch you later.
Nice Fatty Randall, I bet you're going to have an abundance of Rats this year, with the weather being nonstop rain and snow it's going to push the Rats into the neighborhood looking for food, good for you, Bad for them,

How is Texas...fully settled in now?pretty much settled in, still no Hogs, been dealing with some health issues, my Afib came back, it's like a bad girl friend you just can't get rid of... so more Cardiologists to see, at least I got a Cortisone shot in the left shoulder the other day, that feels better, had some Cats, Dogs, Possums and Raccoons cruising the back yard every Day and night and an Otter out at the creek, no Rats to speak of, the Squirrels are still abundant but out of season now.... going to my Friends property on Saturday to sight in some rifles, Air and PB's, he's got 83 acres to shoot on,
Great shooting on that big one Randall !!!
