Well, I've experienced the Hatsan Striker 1k Vortex and the Model 95... I'll just say.. I still have the Striker...
To correct myself, XD What i meant or should have said is to avoid using pellets that are too loose or too tight., littlebit loose, liitle bit tight is ok as long as you get good accuracy. Good accuracy might take awhile or not. I never did consider the M95, thought it was too heavy and for what it is. The Quatro trigger can be funny, or annoying, mine is good on the H125V, without having to adjust it. I verymuch like the 2 Striker Edge that i have., Like other said, at first use your open sights, But Dont spend too much time at 10 meters, move on to 15m and 20m, youll have 18-20FPE < 24-27 joules,. Once the Airgun has broken in after enough shots and When you get good at shooting, youll be able to hit at 30-35+ Meters. NVak
Hi I am thinking of getting a striker 1000 wood stock. Does anyone have an ACTUAL weight for striker wood gun only? Hatsan site shows 6.4 lbs. Thanks.
I didn't like anything about the 95... YMMV...It was heavy, hard cocking and harsh shooting... oh, and pellet picky and apparently I didn't have the right pellet.Another member went away with it and claims he is happy with it... if he still has it.The H 1KV I have is a .25 (the Mod 95 was a .22) and it's lighter, cocks and shoots smoother and I hit what I aim at with it.In all fairness, I did do the RC roller bearing trigger mod which made a night and day difference.
We can't keep them all.

Thanks. Can weigh one later tonight after work. 6.4 lbs seems about right. These are steel and hardwood rifles with minimal plastic. If you want lighter go Airtact or Gamo. Lots of lighter plastic on those rifles.
Thanks mikeyb. Looked into airtact a bit but haven't found much for reviews.
