And lots of new options out there at very reasonable prices.I pretty much quit selling because packing and paying shipping is just not worth the effort.Bill you hit the nail on the head. I think I'd have 20 or so low end springers for sale if shipping was 1/2 the price it is.Example: To sell a $80 dollar refurbished rifle one would have to charge close to $150.Are you saying it costs around $70 to ship an air rifle? How much for a pistol? I haven't shipped any thing for a while and I don't recall it being very expensive.

Quote from: kerplunk on February 10, 2023, 10:28:06 AMIt wasn't me, was it? The sender probably got the weight, size, or package type wrong. I used to trade a lot of disc golf frisbees online and people would often send them as a "large envelope" when it should have been a "package" due to being thicker than a certain amount and rigid. Sometimes it worked, sometimes the receipt would owe. Quote from: avator on February 10, 2023, 08:51:55 AMI don't know if it was just a fluke but someone used PirateShip to send me an airgun and I had to go to the PO and pay more money... They said PirateShip didn't pay enough. Another time, while I was at work, Betty Lou had to pay our mail lady extra. Luckily it was only a few bucks and she had it laying around the house. We usually do not keep cash at all.I do not trust those discount shippers... YMMVLOL, nope wasn't you. This was a year or so ago.... maybe more. I don't remember who it was. I just chocked it up to experience and blew it off.It just seems unnatural to trust a company called PirateShip enough to give them my money.Just puts me in mind of some dark web stuff.

That appears to be what they are doing, the whole 1099 thing, but they are withholding instantly
