Can't believe how nice this is for $79, put about 50 shots through it so far, right on the money even with the supplied scope, and it's got power. The shot cycle is a little hard, but that's about it. I'll have to take it out and see how it will do beyond 20 yards.

Nice, and it'll probably calm down as it gets broken in.

Seems they have made a few versions of this gun, one with a traditional stock, and one I believe they designate as the "Fire" that looks like a Umarex model. They are all Chinese derivatives, but not bad for a $79 gas piston model. I really like this one, the stock is streamlined vs. the boxy tactical type one.

I picked up a standard stock F4 from Walmart.
Took the burrs off and greased it. Shot great until the barrel shims started to wear.
Replaced those with steel as a quick fix, I have some brass ones in the post.
Now it has a ringed piston, polished trigger and shoots sweet as a nut.
Hope you enjoy yours.

Yeah, I learned early on you have to oil any moving mechanicals on these things, especially pumpers, I like the power of the gas ram, a lot of punch.

I have been curious about these for a while now, nearly picked one up a time or two when at Walmart buying pellets.
Looks like a very nice rifle for $79, should be similar to my prowler, which has been going strong for while, and has the best synthetic stock I have felt.

I have about 150 shots on it and it seems broke in nicely, I put a better scope on it, but the one supplied worked fine and I put it on another gun. Seems even the low end guns are getting better lately.

the F4 is a very underrated gun. is got the same powerplant than the old trail np and now the titan gp. breaking in is more like 500 to 1000 shots... you'll know and you'll feel it. important thing on these is to clean the bore and to keep the screws tight (every 100 shots or so). The screw in the barrel forks needs to be kept tight too. it will destroy the scope so get a better one... and the trigger mods are a necessity for any kind of accuracy improvement. I have had that powerplant many times (i buy one, tune it and break it in, a friend comes to visit, shoots it and decides it needs another back porch gun)... in fact im due for another one soon (this time ill staick with a .177... maybe that little barrelled one... the slayer i think is called... ). Good luck with yours!

I like it, I was hitting stuff out to 50 yards with it the other day consistently, the trajectory was staying nice and flat. Can't complain on the price, $79 for a gas ram gun is a bargain.

I bought my F4 a few years ago and the first thing I did was the poor person's trigger job, which involves the removal of the factory safety and installing washers that I bought at the hobby shop. Been so long I can't even remember what it involved or how big the washers were but man! What a difference. Very light single stage trigger, the weight of the trigger pull depending on which size washer you use.
