When I tell him a gun ain't worth nothing to me he just tells me to take it home anyways. On the better ones he's happy to make $5 on them. Great guy.I love the looks of the older style 840, they've got a real Remington look to them.I'd say their only real issue besides the horrible trigger is the lop, it's manageable for me but certainly noticeable.I'll know when I get it if the metal ones have any better of a trigger. The lop on the model 35 ( and it's single pump BSA version the 1910 ) is fine, not as long as the 880 but perfectly fine in my opinion.BSA version 1910.....never even heard of that one. Had to look it up.Okay...the one they're selling now at Walmart. lol

I'll do a 10 yard target using my 1938B Red Ryder that shoots about 350 fps and has a shot tube made up of 1-1/2 Daisy model 499B tubes joined together. I'm not the best shot but it should show what it's capable of.
Yeah, Bantam that's just my thoughts, wanted to try one for myself, but as long as I can get a 880 for only 35 and have to buy for that BSA gun almost 50, that's a little bit to much to be justified for me too. *(&^ I can get a brand new 35 in the camo stock here at a local Tractor Supply for only 39 and there is still that offer at amazon that Bob had acquired the pink camo one for only 18, that I could see myself, but not 50, if I had to spend that much I really wanted some more umpff and a rifeled barrel like th 880 in it.
