Steve
I enjoy your videos. Whenever I spend time working on an airgun (AG), my attachment to it increases. Seldom I have sold any gun after I spent hours and hours repairing it. This is true for AGs and their powder burning cousins. Matt over on the Airginbbs site posted about the connection or bond formed with our guns after repairs. I agree wholeheartedly with Matt's post aka PT Dunk.
Also, I like broken AGs because often their failure to function means their in great shape since the owner stopped using them.
Certainly our improvements to our personal weapons is a pride in ownership thing.

So true my favorite airgun now is my 1914 BSA Sporting. Came to me with broken spring, hole in the piston seal, stock with finish issues and a replacement front sight that didn’t align. Fixed all the issues and added an aperture iris with adjustable hole size. Totally bonded to this rifle even though I have BSA’s in better condition. Just an air rifle musket. lol Will be on my table at PA Airgun Show.

Thanks for the video.
I had repaired a Crosman 106 pistol that was missing the spring washer, with the same O-ring idea, and can also see it having applications for any of the order Crosman 1xx series.
