Today has been the first halfway warm day I could take my new Flying Dragon tuned .22 Xisico XS46U underlever into our back yard "range". 19 yards was the greatest distance I could manage staying out of the shade and sorta warm. Variable crosswinds up to 12 and 15 MPH and I tried to shoot between gusts.
I shot a variety of pellet weights and brands. H+N, JSB, RWS and AA from 14 to 21 grains. These are my first shots with "Floyd", and I had to sight in the nice Tasco Air 3-9X AO scope today also.
I wasn't thrilled with groups I was getting at first. The issues were from me I'm sure, but friends, I remembered a thread I'd started when I received my rifle. Talked about break-in shots and ammo for such. Recalled the suggestion that lillysdad621 made. He suggested not writing off the Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3 grainers I have from Walmart. Opened up a new tin for this special occasion.
I was beyond pleased and quite surprised when groups shrank immediately to dime size at the 19 yards, in 3 and 5 shot strings. Didn't expect that but am tickled. Thanks again lillysdad621.

Well thank you for your kind words. I enjoyed making it from the factory stock. Worked to make it fit me better. Beech I believe.
