Hey Guys,
here is a Video of my New Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic. It has a Weihrauch 3-9x40P on it. Donīt have any more money to buy a good scope ;-) I have to wait till next year.
This gun is perfect for me! You can shoot Field Target with it or just plink with rapid fire. It is very accurate.

The second Video is a few weeks old. Now i am shooting better with it ;-)

Thanks for the post and video, the Styer Hunting 5 Automatic was at the top of my list, but over in the States the price was above 3, 000 dollars last time I checked. If you do not mind me asking, how much does one cost in Germany?

The Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic is without a doubt one of the most beautiful hunting rifles on the planet. I told the guys here today about buying these from Krale Shietsport in the Netherlands. What is the name of the dealer in Germany where you bought yours and what was the price converted to USD please? Or did you just go to the factory in Steyr, Germany to purchase yours? Thanks for sharing your videos with us, what a nice airgun, but you have got to make a quieter pellet trap!

yes, it is one of the nicest Hunting-Rifles. I am happy every day when i have it in my hands.
There are many shops in Germany where you can buy it. Perhaps you can ask there if they will send to USA?

I bought mine at Frankonia.
The price is about 1950 Euros. The actually change-course to US Dollar is Eur:Dollar 1:1,06 So itīs about 2060 US Dollar.
I canīt say anything about Rifles of other nations, but i shootet many German Airgun Rifles. But i donīt know one which brings such a fun as the Hunting 5 Automatic.
I donīt know the right word: "Shooting stand" or "Shooting range", but i build a new one. I havenīt finished it, waiting for some Gimmicks from Steyr Austria they wanted to send to me. This one is really much better than the improvised one in the Video.

Perhaps its interesting:
The JSB Exact 4,53mm are the pellets which go best in my Steyr :-)
The H&N 4,52mm are really good too.

I have a question about the cocking lever on the Steyr. In some videos, they show the lever being pulled by the trigger finger before every shot. In the Steyr video below, the shooter is not touching the lever as he shoots rapid fire. Is there a switch that allows this automatic feed?

Hey,
no, the difference is, that one is the Steyr Hunting 5 (the one with pulling the trigger after every shot), the other one is the Steyr Hunting 5 A (Automatic what is a Semi-Automatic).
Before shooting with the Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic, you have to pull the trigger once, shoot your 5 Shots and then put out the magazine. You can not deactivate the "automatic" of the H5A.

you are just having too much fun shooting your Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic...you are making us very jealous about that. How many shots do you get when you fill it with air? What is your best 5 shot groupings at 25 meters and at 50 meters?

i shooted a Field-Target with the H5A, but didnīt try group on 25m. I will put a picture in here as soon i can shoot outside. Very Bad weather in Germany actually ;-) 50m i think is too much for my 7,5J-Version of the H5A if you have the 16,24 or 40J Version this would be better. But there is a Video about it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zusBIf7Lspw think the groups are ok.
With a full 200Bar barrel i can do about 400-450 Shots till i am on 70 Bar. At 70Bar you should refill.

8mm with 5 Shots i had.
The 25m i will test as soon as possible

no, it hasnt an accessory rail under the forearm, and yes, its a walnut stock. This Rifle is so beautiful, the handling and accuracy is really good.
I only need a good scope on it. I need a very light one. A scope with about 2-12x (or between). This would be enough.
