Sorry guys/gals but, I think one of the worse things I ever tasted is cilantro. I may just be me but, that stuff leaves such a nasty after taste that I will even ask the server at the Mexican restaurant what they have on the menu that does not include it and that's what I order. I've sat with Betty Lou and watch a few of her cooking shows. The chef would just get my mouth all watering and junk and then it happens... they add cilantro.... "Time to go shoot something, enjoy your show".
Maybe so.... Maybe it's good on Kimchi... I'll never know.
I'm just not fond of verde sauce. There was also a time when I wasn't fond of cheese, avocado, hummus, or sushi....now, I can't get enough of these things! So, who knows.....

Then I grew up and got man tastebuds. Ha ha ha! Just poking fun at you two. To each their own. Maybe we can find common ground and ha e a cookie and milk together? Eh? What do you say?
I fancy myself a devotee of Spam. My palette is highly refined to where I can appreciate the flavor nuances that permeate this canned meat product with a half life. I feel bad for those lacking this unique gift bestowed upon so few such as myself. <sarcasm off> 😂👍
Sorry guys, that’s where I stop.... SPAM.I was born and raised in Alaska for the first 8 years of my life. SPAM was one of those common food items that was eaten there, at least by my family. I could never stand that stuff in any kind of form. I don’t know how it has even remained to be made!? I know it ships well and will keep forever but the taste and texture...... Sorry, not dissing your tastes for certain foods but SPAMs following is one thing that remains a real mystery to me.

The hubs had a collection of SPAM here for the apocalypse! Heheheheh
Okay......who had that recipe for Italian wedding soup?My family (mom, sisters, and their families) pick a particular food tradition yearly, and do something a little different for Christmas dinner. This year, it's Italian.I get tired of making the same old lasagne every time I go to any dinner where Italian is featured. I will take a standard salad with dressing, but Italian wedding soup would be a fun addition!
I went Christmas shopping yesterday and Santa bought himself a new toy!!! I'm gonna break it in tonight or break it if the fettuccine doesn't come out right, JJ I got some learning to do so if Ya'll have some pasta recipes/techniques I would appreciate it.I used 2 cups flour to 2 eggs and a little water per the internet and it looks good so far. BUT if that fails I have some in the cabinet.
Brett, you won the lottery with your Queen, that's a hardcore commitment. I wish you're family all the success!!!Back to noodles!!!I fooled around and fell in love! These things are awesome compared to store bought leather. It took a while to get them rolled out but I went too thin so next time it should be quicker. MAN, that dough stretches way out there.Shrimp and smoked sausage fettuccine.
Rob, I'm thinking some seafood fra diavalo would be awesome with those homemade pasta.Brett, I think both you and your wife are pretty amazing people. As well as my parents: Immigrants who raised 6, educated and successful kids.Dinner tonight is leftover chicken and pasta with roasted asparagus. Chased it down with a bowl of mint chocolate cookie ice cream.
5 way chili is planned for dinner.
Spaghetti, thick sauce, chili beans, chopped onions and cheese.
