Tonight is a work night so...A hamburger patty with mustard to dip it in, some jalapeño potato chips, banana, grapefruit, apple, german chocolate cake and milk. Ate everything except the grapefruit and apple. Those will be snacks for later.
HR and accounting put on a big buffet style spread for all office department members. A mix of American and Korean foods. And believe it or not, no Kimchee. There were other things I couldn't identify so I abstained from them. It was all you can carry back to your desk. I loaded 2 foam cafeteria style platters and wrapped them to bring home. Also the Koreans celebrate a 100 day birthday of their children along with the yearly birthdays. It's traditional to pass out Korean rice birthday cake. I found a hunk on my desk. Turns out from one of the Korean maintenance guys. Quite an odd mix of food with Korean and American. Something about creamed corn next to seaweed wrapped sushi that just don't look right on the same plate.BTW... those Koreans like their spicy food.... WOW !!!

I LOVE Kipper Snacks... and Sardines. NOW... if you can find something called "Blind Robbins" you are in Heaven. (Smoked Herring). Think fish jerky.I used to keep them in an old Glass Peanut-Butter jar with the screw on lid... Once opened, the whole family knew it.Only see them at one butcher shop now. Might stop by there tomorrow.
Right now, I'm puttin' some Blue Bell Butter Pecan back in the freezer and headin' to the rack. How 'bout you?
