The room fills with smells of Grandma's Dutch Apple Pie on Sunday afternoon. I'll break out a P-17 and do some off hand indoor plinking while I conjure up the spirits.....Wing of Bat... Eye of newt... Stir and Bubble... Toil in Trouble..The spell is cast.. The Spirits have risen.... Soon I'll escape this sober prison..

Tonight is Hoosier Momma's "Book Club" night and us Husbands meet in retaliatory "He Man Women Haters Club"... I am having me a Half-Pound Mushroom and Swiss Burger, Onion Rings, and a Guinness (or 4)!
Been busy all day so I resorted to a big box of Popeye's chicken, biscuits, red beans & rice and green beans. I'm glad the best Popeye's in town is the closest to me, locations do make a difference.
Two of the young Korean girls from work want to come hang out with Betty Lou and I. One speaks a little English and the other... not so much. So I ask.. what would you serve them?No Tater.... not kimchi...We're gonna hit them with 3/4 lb hamburgers on the grill and French fries. OD them on red meat.... that's how we roll. Then shoot some guns... keep in mind... guns are illegal in Korea. Cops don't even have guns. Finally we'll go for some heavy drinking... Koreans are known for drinking.... if you call 17% Soju heavy.... but we don't do anything 17% around here.I told them that they are welcome to stay... no drinking and driving. One of them asked me if they would be able to attend church on Sunday. I said "Yes, you may need to."
Bill, you crack me up. Now, I would be willing to bet Betty-Lou could whip up a MEAN oven baked Mac-n-Cheese to go with them Burgers. Then if they DO stay the night some Sausage Gravy and Biscuits for breakfast before they go have their sins forgiven.
Got some cashews, vienna sauages, and keebler club & cheddar crackers. Livin' good
"Mr. Bill, you have soooo many guns"!!!
