Look what I found, SPAM Musubi
I fancy myself a devotee of Spam. My palette is highly refined to where I can appreciate the flavor nuances that permeate this canned meat product with a half life. I feel bad for those lacking this unique gift bestowed upon so few such as myself. <sarcasm off> 😂👍Stumbled on a 5# chub of 80/20 ground beef yesterday for $6.32, because last date of sale was today. So this morning me and Mama took 3# and made 15 meatloaf burgers for the freezer, then I made a pot of chili with beans with the rest of the meat. That will be dinner tonight with the pan of corn bread I made in a cast iron pan.
My wife's brother and his family are in town this weekend, so we headed into Boston's Italian area for dinner. We dined at Nico's ristorante.

I ran into a celebrity at an Italian restaurant once! It was Gary Sinise. I was taking one of our youngest sons to the restroom and he was in there washing his hands. We made eye contact and I just said that I liked his work as I was entering a stall with my son. He smiled and said thanks or thank you or something along those lines. That was at Maggiano’s in Costa Mesa, CA
I watched it and I’m gonna try it! Ha ha! He liked it and he isn’t a SPAM fan either so I may as well give it a go.
