Please help.
Hope I am posting this in the right place. If not Please advise.
I have a Webley/Beeman Tempest that I purchased back in the early '90's. Love it, but have always wanted to have the trigger pull lightened and tuned. I also recently purchased a Hurricane as well (from EBay), but upon test shooting it, a certain component of the cocking mechanism broke (ok, yeah, I pulled the trigger before fully locking back the barrel). The part that is broken is what I would call a slider, or follower, that slides along the top of the main chamber. I have the new part to replace it (purchased from the UK), but I'm not so confident in myself, nor do I have a bench to work on it, to replace the part and bring my Hurricane back into action. I bought a set of roll pin punches, and I think I can do it, but honestly I just don't have the time or facility to do it right.
After reading all of your posts on GTA, I am hoping that someone out there might be willing to repair my Hurricane and do a trigger tune on both the Hurricane and my old Tempest.
I also may be getting a .22 cal Tempest in the near future, which will would be included in the tune package once I get it.
I cannot find anyone in Colorado that can do these repairs and tunes. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for this, and hope this does not violate the rules of this forum for this request, but I just want to get my guns in the best operation.
FYI, I also own a red dot scoped IZH 46M, and two IZH 60's (one scoped, the other diopted), so you know I am kinda into airguns, at least to that extent.
I'm really hoping that someone out there can help with this.
Thanks,
