I went to the indoor range here in Summerville yesterday and got my new DISCO zero'd @ 20 yd's. I'm very impressed with how easy this rifle is to shoot. Since I don't have anything to stabilize it, i.e....lead sled I did what I could just resting on the LOW bench's ( I'm 6'3"). When I returned home I took a few shots at a 1" spinner in my backyard thats about 30' from my bedroom window. Nailed it 5/5 times. I'm hoping when I come to this fun shoot maybe I can get a little help getting it truly zero'd in at 25 yd's. I also just placed my order for 6.5" TKO. The gun isn't nearly as bad as I expected from reviews on youtube, but it may be alarming to neighbors. I love plinking out of my bedroom windows as I have multiple targets set in my yard. As i'm sure many of you have stabilizers I hope it won't be to much to ask of your expertise, time, and the use of the rest to maybe help me get'r done. As the name implies I have shaky hands, and really need to practice better breathing, but I'm sure with a little help and a few shots from a stable platform this little gem will be a squirrels worst nightmare.

Yeah, +1 what Kevin said and it sounds like you got it zeroed. If you got'em a folding table and chair are good to have. For a rest I use 3-4 red bricks and a shot bag or folded towel of some kind. I got a couple of small folding tables and chairs fit in my trunk perfect from Walmart. But for your first trip to the shoot we can hook you up with something. Check out the pictures of the last shoot and you.ll see what I mean. Later, Tim.

Jerry, did you ever put a new spring or piston seal in your B3. If not bring it and we'll do a quick rebuild.
I'll bring the parts and some molly and washer or pennies. I bring a seerr and seer spring if it needs them.

Well, I couldn't stand it no longer. I ordered the Diana 56th from PA. With the coupon off the back of the catalogue I got it for $832. Ordered a Hammers 3-9X40AO for $68 off amazon to go with it. Yes, I am tickled. Hope it last.

I've wanted one for a long time. The fun shoots before the last one the guy from Gastonia had a 54 Air King and I got to shoot it some. That was it. How can you have anxiety, guilt and be tickled at the same time.

If anyone is interested I will be selling my 150 Torpedo .25 cal with extra right handed thumb hole stock  for $200. I will throw in a tin of H&N extreme hunters as well. The gun was completely rebuilt and serviced by Hatsan USA last year and chronied 33 FPE with JSB 25.4 grains. Trades are also welcome for discussion.

So I have a question for you pro's my disco is hitting dime sized groupings @ 30 yd's. Is that where I should be zeroing to? I've noticed that there is a huge pellet drop from 30 yd's to 50 yd's. More than I'm used to with firearms is this normal and where do most of you zero you scopes at?

Are you seeing a big pellet drop or are you using some other method to determine the drop I.E. chairgun? pellet drop is a function of velocity and ballistic coefficient of the pellet in use. JSB pellets are one of the more efficient  energy retaining pellets so the amount of drop over a given distance is less than say RWS and Crosman. I hope that helps.

I was at a bench and had the rifle in a rest. So at 30 yd's dime groups and zeros on target. At 50 yd's in the same rest shooting center mass the pellet drops a couple inches. What range should I be trying to zero this thing. I set the zero at 30 because I figure most targets will be between 0 - 60 yards so 30 was my mid line. I was shooting Premier HP .22

It'll be fun learning. This is completely diff than firearms. Working with a fraction of the energy so I guess my expectations need to come back down to earth. I'll enjoy picking your minds and getting to know this new rifle. I cant complain, it punches through 3/4 inch particle board at 30 ft.
