Would you like some company? I'd like to see if the big gun works after the minor surgery. Would have to be Sunday though, daughter turns 11 tomorrow and we're celebrating Saturday.

Did you get the bur removed from the transfer port?

I don't know if I will be out there Saturday, was going to go to the dive shop and get the tank inspected and filled again...

I am off all next week though....

Though it doesn't seem like it this weekend the weather should be warming up by the first or second weekend in March.  Haven't shot much since the last get together may have to schedule and early spring shoot......

Let me know what Yall think.....

I would like to make it, but doesn't look like I'll be back in country until April. Then I'll only have roughly 3 weeks before Alaska.

Did you get the bur removed from the transfer port?

I didn't see your question until now, OTC. Yea, it's good to go, I think. Probably won't get a chance to try it out until October, tho. Hopefully, I'll have the compressor by then. It'll make it easier to fill for testing when I get the chance.

Terry,

Let us know when in April you are going to be here and we will schedule another shoot around your time too...

I'm ready anytime. Got a gun I want to try at 50 yards. Rusted up Daisy 1000 from a pawn shop for $25. Before with new B2 leather breach seals it shot Peak 8.6grs around 670fps and 4grs alloys 830fps. New spring and piston seal from Air Rifle Supply, painted barrel and receiver with p/u liner. New wood Winchester 1000 stock from Daisy. (Both models made by Hatsan until 2005 from what I read.) Big Gamo barrel weight and a TF 3-7x32AO scope. Now it shoots the Peaks about 820 and the Crosman alloys 1150fps. Shoots RWS 8.2 grs Meisterkugeln around 880fps and at 23 yards after I zeroed, the last 5 pellets made one hole with one flyer a half inch away. 2lbs trigger pull.

We can build a warming fire and shoot now.

(pokes head out of semi)......did somebody say fun shoot?

Things are going good.....thinking about picking up a another BT65 .25...in wood this time.
Have to source air though, I live in a semi and the Co. would have a fit if I tried running a high pressure compressor off it

Make an adapter to air your gun up off the air hose to the trailer's glad hands. Just kidding, too much moisture and oil get in a trucks air system.

It'll air-up a tire. When ever we do shoot, among other guns, I'll bring my new Diana 470th. Yes, it's her and it's mine and it's a baby-doll. A heavy baby-doll but a baby-doll non the less.

So today after brunch at Madra Rua Irish pub the wife says lets go out to the property and shoot some, was a last minute thing, swung by Tractor supply for two bags of corn since the feeder was empty last time we were out there, came home switched vehicles real quick hastily packed up the Big Nasty and the FDPCP along with all the support gear and off we went, had a great day shooting the weather was absolutely gorgeous perfect day for shooting, now I need to order two more tins of JSB Kings....

Here is a picture of my wife shooting her favorite gun, The Big Nasty...

I'm working things around so that I get every third week off and the schedule runs in a Wednesday through Tuesday pattern, so that I will have every 3rd weekend off...

It will take a few weeks to get it all worked out..as thing are now, I will be working this coming weekend and be off the next weekend of April 4th and 5th...after that I will have the pattern established and I'm REALLY looking forward to some like minded, airgun related socializing...

Soooooo.....I'm askin, when is the next Fun Shoot?.....hunh hunh hunh?...enquiring airgunners want to know

Latest update....

On the 21st of this month, we're celebrating the wife's 50th. I'm flying out on the 15th of April. From the 2nd to the 7th, I'll be home in missouri visiting my dad. If the weather ever straightens up, we might get a little shooting done, but it doesn't look like it's going to. In that event, I'm supposed to come home for a week starting July 2nd until the 9th so maybe I can join you guys then.
Of course, everything is subject to change....

I just looked at AccuWeather, and according to them, the 28th and 29th are supposed to be outstanding. I'm up for it if everyone else is. What do you guys think?
