Have some questions since me and another person are thinking about attending for the first time in March.  One, do you have a street address or better yet GPS coordinates where the get together actually takes place?  Of  the motels you list someplace, which has the best price or would any of them provide a convention type discount?  I imagine you get quite a few PM, so is there another way to reach you with questions?  After 5 hours in a car to get there, not being prepared is not a good idea.  Thanks much!

Oppie,

Here are the coordinates, 3322'56.6"N 8011'08.7"W, Google Link: https://www.google.com/maps/place/33%C2%B022'56.6%22N+80%C2%B011'08.7%22W/@33.38244,-80.1847397,17z/data=!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x88fefe74856db295:0xfd838d7594821877!2s440+Arch+Dr,+Cross,+SC+29436!3b1!8m2!3d33.38244!4d-80.182551!3m5!1s0x0:0xc5b24c0649f85276!7e2!8m2!3d33.3823953!4d-80.185761

The motels in Moncks Corner are further than the ones in Santee, I personally haven't stayed at any of them, I also haven't setup any event rates since we sorta just do this among friends, most people drive in the same day.  You guys are coming from quite a distance so I would say look at the ones in Santee first right on I-95 at Hwy 6, that puts you about 19 miles from where we shoot and on the home side  if you stay overnight.  Another option is camping if you are up to it, let me know in advance and I will make sure that the people that I have watching the property know and you can pitch a tent on sight, wouldn't be the first one to do that...

Send me a message and I will send you my Cell number, it is on me all the time so you can can always get in touch with me.

Hope that helps..

Big Al.

It's not a formal.event.....a country show up and shoot....would be a good label for the format....nothing but room to shoot and like minded people doing the same....and the only thing special is the owner

My Gamo Swarm is supposed to be here tomorrow. I think it'll be better than my Mendoza repeater break barrels. Have to get Al to see which GRT trigger it'll take.

Nothing new in the airgun closet around here, but I did order a new powder burner today...... My new M2 Red Dot FINALLY came, tho. It made it from China to New York in 4 days. Once USPS got ahold of it it took 4 weeks to get to SC. And it was Registered!

My Gamo Swarm is supposed to be here tomorrow. I think it'll be better than my Mendoza repeater break barrels. Have to get Al to see which GRT trigger it'll take.
GRT4 just like the Accu and the Varmint Hunter I have.

I took some lumber i had laying around and made a sawhorse type shooting gallery. It has holes drilled on the top for tees and paintballs or whatever will fit in the holes, and i am looking for other stuff to hang off the bottom. Right now i just have my little spinner hanging.
I'll bring the drill with me next month if anyone has something to mount to it. It's roughly 8' long so there should be no problems. I figure put it in the middle of the field and have at it.
Al, the new tanks are good to go.

I bought a Cow Bell to hang on a steel pole about 75 yards out for next month.

I use beer ping pong balls on skewers stuck in the ground for cheap entertainment.  The ping pong balls can be ordered in quantities in 1" and .5" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LI5SDPK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1).  If I just use the ping pong balls, it is even more of a challange, because I have to shoot at the ball wherever it bounces from the previous hit.

What we need is a dueling tree for offhand games, or one of the flip and reset targets each and whoever flips and resets first moves on.  ;)
On another note, I installed some wood grips I purchased at Alliance Hobby on the 1377. It feels and looks much better now.
