I just looked at AccuWeather, and according to them, the 28th and 29th are supposed to be outstanding. I'm up for it if everyone else is. What do you guys think?

That is the weekend for the flower town festival, the wife and I leave town that weekend and head to parts unknown...

Ed,

The longest shooting lane we currently have setup is 100 yds and only a few of us have even attempted the shots, though others have the desire just not the power to reach that far....

We are looking at April 10th and 11th for the next official shoot dates, though I plan on being out there pretty much every weekend through the next couple of months getting things ready for the Ground Breaking for Camp Gigi Grandpa...

I'll be there.

Big Al, I got two B2's, a B1, Daisy 753, Ruger Explorer, maybe an X20S and four or five B3's and about nine 4x32 scopes for the scouts. Got to sort thru the pats bin for scope mounts. Put two Industry Brand clamp on rear sight on two of the B3's. They work real good. Going to make some drop-in anti-bear trap safeties out of some steel rod (2 to 2 1/2" X 5/16") with 550 parachute cord lanyards with loops on one end to loop thru the scope mounts or trigger guards. That should belay any fears about fingers. With you all's approval of course. Later.

By the way, you have any extra scope mounts (or rings) with a rounded bottom. I have some. Some of these old chinese guns you need them or the mount and scope will be canted.

Nah, Terry that stock came off an ancient B1. I thought maybe the one you were working on was a real old one also. I don't think that stock will fit the newer B1's. The piston center rod is broke on the one that stock came from.

I bought a new .177 B1 at the local flea market and cut the stock off behind the pistol grip and put a QB6 folding stock, an AK muzzle brake/flash suppressor and a BSA red dot sight on it and sprayed it all with p/u bed liner. "Paratrooper" B1. Looks kinda' like an old paratrooper M1 carbine. Just a prototype, not perfect yet. Bought two of the AK muzzle brakes from archie way back for B3-1 AK's. Only mounted one. Got two of those QB6 stock from him a month or so ago. Can't find a QB6 for sale anywhere. But he still got the stocks. One of those rainey week-end projects.

Look forward to seeing you guys at the fun shoot if we're able to do it. Later Tim.

There are 2 other shoots also scheduled in april. Flatcar1 is doing the boy scout shoot in greer on the 11th, and nicky999 is hosting his FT shoot around the 25th, i think.  I am just posting this here, in case anybody from SC is lurking and not wanting to post might have missed them. I'm hoping the weather holds out for the 10th and 11th at Al's place. Looking forward to shooting with friends.

I get back in town for a week starting weds the 15th

and would very much like to come out to your property and do some shooting next week end...even it's just me and the B3 that Lefteyeshot gave me...

I haven't shot anything in months now and I'm starting to itch and I get the shakes if I get near the sporting goods isles in Walmart

I'm not 100% sure yet but I might be able to entice him to come up for a day too....
