I would like to own an pellet pistol that works like a single action semi-auto
The vast majority of guns advertised as "semi-auto" actually use lock works that are essentially double action revolvers, using the trigger to feed the pellet and cock and release the hammer.
What I have in mind is something like the Crosman 600 or Daisy 2003 where gas cocks the hammer and feeds the pellet
Is there anything in production that does that?
Bonus points if the mechanically feeds the pellet into the barrel - as opposed to making the pellet jump from the magazine to the barrel at the moment of firing

No experience with AEA myself, but numerous members have, with a good number of threads on them.

I think the Hatsan Sortie works like this way and I am pretty sure that also Evanix has a couple of airguns that have this feauture.
I get your point though !

Both of those would be a little large for "draw and shoot" practice

I couldn't find one in CO2, last year. Ended up with a BB one, Crosman P1.

A CO2 BB gun is going to be a lot better for draw practice, a lot of times you can find a BB version of your actual carry gun. Plus a BB is unlikely to puncture jeans if you do have any issues during practice, a PCP pellet pistol could pretty easily warrant an ER trip if it hit you.
