Benjamin Bulldog degassing screw help
(1/1)
PseudoSane:
Hi all, I was putting some barrel supports on my Benjamin Bulldog tonight. I didn't retighten the degassing screw enough, and when I was putting the barrel shroud back on the degassing screw and bb fell out.
So, I have a few questions:
1) Are those the only 2 pieces that might have fallen from the degassing valve (screw and bb)?
2) I was going to clean them up with some gun oil before reassembling. Should I use another project to clean them?
3) Should I apply something to the degassing screw threads when I put it back on? Silicone grease? Tape?
4) Should I use something like Loctite on the barrel shroud screws?
Thanks all!

#1 should be, pretty sure no spring in there
#2 should be ok, or some pellgun oil
#3 no
#4 no

Thanks! It came with a little tube of pellgun, I'll try that.
Greg_E:
You only need to crack it loose to degas the tube, one full turn may even slow it down.
