xisico cx3 not building pressure ?

(1/3) > >>

gendoc:
it pumps some pressure, but its not enough to register on the gauge.
when i crack the bleed screw, a small amount comes out.
i have cleaned the valve on the bottom about 5 times and stretched the spring a little.
i have checked all fittings with soapy water spray.......nada !!
it is pulling air in the intake filter on the head as it should be.

2 months out of warranty & about 16hours of run time.

any ideas ??

mobilehomer:
Pull the top head and clean the reed valve there. While in there, give the cylinder a good cleaning.

i did that twice.....no luck, thanks !!

oldpro:
Pull piston top and blow down threw piston to clear out any debris. Inspect piston top ring also when you pull it off. when blowing threw piston top be sure the brass nut and plunger is removed from the bottom of the block. Also when blowing down threw piston only do it in a short quick burst only once or you can damage the high pressure piston ball valve and spring.
