Can you bring an airgun to Hawaii

  I have seen lots of mongooses on the Big Island, and  I like the idea of mongoose hunting.   
What are the rules for bringing an airgun to Hawaii ?

No rules that I know of.

Check with your airlines for regs to check it under there rules.
Call local law enforcement to see if they have any rules to check in a airgun when arriving to the island.  Air cylinders cannot be under pressure.

It is one of the United States & under federal law it's not considered a firearm, so all should be good as long as you follow TSA regs.   8)

Thanks for the info! it is not my topic but it would be fun to go to HI and hunt with an airgun.
