Good luck Carter! I had a solid white fox squirrel run cross the road in front of me about 40 years ago driving home from Apalachicola National Forest. I was still in the Forest and pulled over and grabbed my O/U 12gauge, but he never showed himself. I've seen a few solid black ones, but never seen another white one.

That’s what I’m after. To survive to adult age in the wild a white squirrel has got to be smart. This one is pretty cagey. I didn’t see it today but it’s still there. I may try hunting the other side of the river. The Sopchoppy is a narrow black water stream that runs between 20’ high, steep banks. The trees form a canopy over the river and the squirrels pass back and fourth constantly. Crossing the river is easy for them! Bit more difficult for me. I ain’t as agile as I used to be and I prefer to cross at a bridge these days.
Sic-em Carter!!! Guy I work with had a white one that was being the worst pest of all. Down right menacing! He is an avid hunter but only has Shotguns and C.F.'s, He asked to borrow an air rifle so I lent him my FWB 124 S.Very next day he brings it back... 5 shots 4 squirrels... including the Albino! He wanted to buy the gun... "Sorry NFS, get your own"
Are you allowed to float/drift down the river and hunt from a boat?
