Well I shot a six inch group with H&N 14.66s at 50yds so I took barrel off gun and cleaned it real good. I ran patches thru when I got it but it didn't show up how filthy it was. I smoothed edge of chamber and recrowned barrel. Played with reg. Boy it's touchy. No adjustment on hammer spring as it was all the way in. Hammer is very light. Not like prototypes. No sense going over stock reg settings as there isn't enough hammer to open after 1800. The jsb 18.13 need 1500 on reg to run 875 and it stacks em at 50yds with lots of shots. About 1300 to run H&N 14.66 at same. They are under a inch now. I really like the gun. They put a joint right under the thinest spot on action and mount screw right there. It allows the action to be tweeked so magazine fits tight at top with very little effort.
No one makes a long slug twist barrel that I know of. First one that does in all calibers will be famous.
The gun is fun to shoot and after smoothing the chamber the action is buttery smooth allowing a double chambering with ease, LOL. I sent email to Travis for bedding fix. Never got a confirmation but did get a tracking number today along with instructions on install that I don't have app to open. Also said they attempted delivery and I must fill out info before next attempt. Of course I can't fill it out cause I don't have app to open. I do have a mail box that I open almost every day. Oh well I can bed gun if nothing else. As is gun is good to 25yds for squirrel head shots. Still think this would make a awesome 177. The stock is Great. Works for left handers too. After I worked on trigger I have it adjusted too light for safety to function as it operates below the safety block travel limit. Gun is holding air so that's alot better than my first two new PCP,s(disco and gauntlet). I love the dual gauges. No more special apparatus to test regs. Once you get a side lever action you won't want any more bolts. I'm surprised there aren't a lot of new owners souping these up. A long barrel 177 slug twist kit would be awesome. If only there was someone in position to make it happen realize that. Buy a great 22 carbine, 177 slug combo rifle. Maybe even a 25 barrel kit option. Oh well just dreaming. Guess I was spoiled years ago with my Thompson Centers. Boy did I overindulge there. Anyways thanks Travis 2thumbsupemogie!
Thanks Travis, same to you and yours Brother. MH Scott, Was that a special order? They list one 3 groove in 458cal. No good twists unless ya want a true 17.

Installed at 26" OAL and tensioned it shoots very very well ( set up in the JSAR Raptor ) Running@ 46-48 fpe power level

Quote from: thesandman on October 29, 2022, 02:00:20 PMWell I shot this morning and the 14.3 crosmans are running 943avg 972 hi 928 lol 44es 7sd. for 34 shots. I deleted one at 733? Don't know what happened. It would be easy to get 50 shots with 13 grainers at 850 plus around 1400 on reg. I shot down to 1300ish and still at 885. Gun had some fliers and shot 2in at 50yds. Gun seemed to shoot better at 900 or less also. I think with good ammo it will shoot under 1in at 50. As it sets it might be a great 17 cal with barrel swap. I like the gun. On the stock the mount screw has no support under it and it would be easy to break the stock if overtightened. Also it seems like it stresses the assembly easily if overtight. I'm not sure I'm going to get the 25 grainers to 1000fps. The big boys will be pumping theirs up soon so I'll wait and see. Yes ... The action should get a spacer bridging the gap between Plenum block and stock. made them for my MAX's discovering the same issue.
