Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #2 of 2022/2023 is open for business.!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle (includes any rifle except spring or nitro pistons), Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), and Pistol. One entry may be made in each class.
The match #2 will run 2 weeks, through Sunday, 12/4/22.

Nice target! PCP truly are so much easier to shoot than a springer. I love my tx200, but I have a hard time getting the same performance out of it that I get out of my PCPs. Enjoy. Excellent shooting.

It’s interesting.
I have learned that most variation in poi is caused by my trigger finger/udder gripping action no matter which platform is used.

I experience the same thing, but I have to say getting it ‘right’ with a springer is so much more satisfying.

Todd, I couldn't agree more. I thoroughly enjoy shooting my springer's. When I do well, you can't wipe to smile off my face! I just wish I could shoot them as well as I do my PCPs.

Looks like I forgot to actually enter my target! I posted it all over the GTA but still forgot. Just for posterity sake, here it is, shot 11/20/22.
I was working through all sorts of issues with this gun so I was hoping for a better target but this one will do.

Thanks Charlie! I'm still trying for the perfect 200/200 20X target, this casual match is the PERFECT place to pursue the challenge. ;D

Absolutely! From where I sit, the more the merrier! I believe .... from my perspective, this is a very good driver for proper execution of the shot. I like to tell folks that come up to my place to shoot if they miss it's not the gun. I am lucky to have a couple of really good shooters too bad the owner (me) can't always make it work - but I try. And I'm having a good time doing it! So come on - come all this is fun.

Welcome aboard Scott!
My father/son shooting partners, Eric, and John I'm sure have the same desire as we do for all Xs. Due to the snow here in the Pacific northwest, we were not able to have our get together prior to Sunday. I know they are anxious to shoot and get some scores in.
This is a hoot!
