Shot some beautiful classic 27’s today. A 1940 Diana 27 DRP and Beeman’s Original 27 with Williams/Beeman peep sight. A neat feature of the 1940 model is its dry fire trigger practice feature. Had a wonderful time shooting these old but very capable classics!
Sheridan Model F
Thanks. I agree, old 27’s just do it for me as well and hold special place. That 1940 is special and in fantastic shape. The insides and rifling is equally fine and it shoots strong. I haven’t seen a later dated one before the war. Mine is June 1940.
....and after digging up this old Dianawerk post by a Jeff C, possibly one of the last ones produced before the war? Interesting anyway. Such a wealth of knowledge in this forum!Link to 2010 Jeff C post in Dianawerkhttps://www.tapatalk.com/groups/thedianawerkcollective/help-with-old-model-34-t6866-s10.html#p46222
Going to shoot my British made Webley Vulcan today. It has an Air Rifle Headquarters Tune Kit installed. I've been neglecting my springers lately and this has long been a favorite.

Very nice group Steve! So the Carmargue is a side lever Tap loader? You got any more pics of it?
