So he is getting the extra power primarily from using more pressure.... When you pull the valve, measure the stem diameter.... I'm guessing it is 1/8", instead of the 5/32" stem used in a Disco valve.... He may very well be using an MRod valve stem, which is smaller OD and harder material than the Disco poppet, and just that upgrade is well worth doing.... You get more flow through the valve throat and the valve is easier to open (important if you are running more pressure)…. Still, not increasing the exhaust port diameter seems very strange to me.... particularly if he is using a smaller stem Bob
Hey guys I know this is an old thread, hoping some of you are still following, but I am considering one of these valves for my Disco and wanted y'all's opinion? Or is there something better?
