Gamo recently bought Daisy.ETA The "new" Winchester domes are not liked by many nearly as much as the old Chinese Winchester domes. The old (good) Win. tins have part number 300211-000. P/N is for the new Spanish Win. domes is 400046-000.
I am curious to find out who makes the pellets for Winchester? Would it be Gamo ? I was testing pellets today in my new Maximus and I grabbed the tin of Winchester hollow points off the shelf to dial the scope onto my small targets with. I had been using my free copper plated Crosman Premiers but the tin is getting light. So I sight in with the Winchester’s and I’m in the center of the bull in three shots and I think to myself these are not that bad. I go on the test my sample packs of H&N Hunters and Field Trophy and Barracudas, some of which show great promise and it looks like my Maxi prefers straight up 4.50mm instead of the 4.51 or 4.52s. I have bit of air left when I’m done and I start shooting the Winchester’s again since I have a pretty full tin of them and bam bam bam bam one right after another one hole center bull. I do get a flyer about 1 out of ten but the flyer is within a .3 inches. All this is at 30 yards. So I look at the dirty tin of Winchester’s with swarf and dust everywhere and then at my shiny tins of H&Ns and just shake my head when I look on the bottom of the tin and see Made in Spain ? Gamo ? I’m not complaining but I’m just surprised I guess. I’m ordering some more and the round and pointed nosed ones too to try. I might even wash and lube them just for kicks. Anyone else been shooting these and keeping it a secret or something or did I just get lucky with my particular Maxi ?
nced, the pellets you show have been discontinued. It seems most who shoot them in their Daisy 880s liked them, other guns are hit/miss.

Makes sense since they were bought a couple years ago. Hummmm....are the Spanish pellet relabeled Gamo better than the Chinese pellets? *SNIP*
I know this is an old post. I have a tin of made in Spain domes part number 400046-000 marked made in spain. These pellets shoit very well in several of my springers as good as premiers. The weight of these are 7.4 grs.I also have the made in China domes, part 300211-000. These weigh 9.8 grains and shoot very well. In one of my springers they are the only ones the shoot well from my collection of gamo, crosmen, daisy, h&n. I guess I need to buy a bunch.I don't understand why they don't put the weight on the tin! Such a basic thing to do.Has anyone weight the winchester lead free.
