thanks ranchibi i will look at these.so i am a machinest and very capable mechanic, haveing said that it is not to indicate i want to spend my time working on a gun, other then some i want to do. i really dont see me buying into cheap made guns? i am all for afordiable quality but in my life of experience affordiable typlcly is slang for cheap and more often then not junk?so based on my experience in life i would rather save money and just get a nice gun.but if i can get a good gun for a good price i am 100 % onboard with that.i first looked at the benjamins but after some reading, it seams there many folks where having quality issues. i was reading the otherday several reviews where folks got guns that showed up not working or leaking and seems they where unhappy not only with the gun but the retailers service. i dont want to buy a gun and have to work on it first out of the box.i like air guns but i was only awhere of the pumpers. and i have several of those.i have not yet started looking at a air soucre but will most likey not be hand pumping.so as to maintenance are pcp guns maintenance heavy?what made me look mostly at the FX, American Air Arms, and Brocock was it seemed everyone gave these guns great reviews as to quality.i was told by one saleman the they did not sale FX because there required far to much maintenance but i took that as a sale pitch. the retailer did not sale FX and wanted to push me in another direction. now they did say they did not sale the FX guns because they where maintenance heavy but coming from a saleman i took it with a grain of salt.me and the wife both like shooting and we use our pumers here in town but at my age and point in life if i can own a gun that will preform the way i am seeing the PCP guns preform and not have to pump one up it is a gun i will own. LOL i have already started saving my pennies. thanks guys and gals.
