Just a FYII purchased one of these from ANS 11/29 and was immediately charged but they still have not provided any shipping info. If delays are posted I have no problem with this but I expect shipment within 2-3 business days otherwise. I recently tried to cancel my order via email without reply and their phone number is always busy.As I mentioned I expect quick shipment these days unless notified so I have a good idea when to expect my products, especially in these busy days, so at this time I do not recommend this company.I will update with changes.
If any of you guys has reason to remove the regulator, please advise on how it goes. One of the reviewers said it was difficult. Many bottles have a heavy application of threadlocker so I’m assuming that’s what he was dealing with. What has always worked for me is holding the reg in a vise and using strap wrenches to turn the bottle. A turn of electrical tape on the bottle improves the strap’s grip.
My bottle showed up Saturday, which is a couple days early, originally was to be Monday. This bottle does fit the gauntlet gen 1. I will be swapping regs and using this on my .177 gauntlet. Should boost my shot count a little.Nervous trigger, thanks for the heads up on possible thread lock use. I will use a dryer or heat gun to heat the neck up a little before I change out the reg. Thanks OP for posting the deal
I would like to confirm that the thread is standard rather than metric.

I couldn't find where they list the thread but they have a picture of the bare regulator herehttps://ansgear.com/first-strike-hero-2-tank-regulator-4500-psiScaling the bottle threads against the known diameter of the ASA threads, it appears to be 0.62" diameter, meaning 5/8" - 18 like a Ninja, Tippmann, etc.. Definitely not M18 (0.71").
Just a heads up, I don't know what the product listing said when they put it on sale for $80 previously, but now the drop-down selection has only a single option for no regulator included. As in a bare bottle.
