Obviously I have to much time on my hands, but if you can't shoot em,,, next best thing is think about them.
Here's my soon to be custom 34. Dimensions of pasted pieces are off so..real thing should look better...maybe.
Seriously gave the Cometa Comp some consideration, but for more money, hopefully not that much more,,,got a German!

I've gotten hung-upon the .22 cal. I have a 36 in that caliber and have found that it's capable of a lot longer shots than I had thought. Recently, I took it out shooting at 12GA hulls @50 yards and with a 4X scope and shot over a rest (Gun held in palm of hand), I got very consistant hits even way out there!
I started out with Crosman Premiers but ended up shooting RWS Hollow points and H&N Wadcutters. It seems the lighter pellets flew flatter and still had enough punch to skip the Hulls out of sight! The H&N Wadcutters were extremely accurate at 50 yards and as expected so were thr RWS H/P's.
The caliber just seems to make sense when you have a rifle shooting in the 700+ fps range.
Unfortunately I no longer hunt but if I ever decided to take it up again, the Model 36 would be first choice with my .22Webly Stingray Carbine second. The .22 , 34 sounds like a fantastic platform on which to build a custom hunter!

Sadly,,ordering the gun from P.A. was only the first step. Unless I go on the cheap, the custom work will have to come later.
...thanks for enough interest to reply.

Nice choice, love the lines of the classic stock. I picked up a Diana/RWS 34 Meisterschutze Pro .177cal T05 from AOA. Sweet thing, handles and shoulders well. Of course she is as accurate as I can be......Shoot Safe and Enjoy.....Bill

The "Classic" came today!
It was almost like I was nine again,,,getting my first ag for Christmas.
To be less nostalgic,,,I was anxious to compare it to the TO5.
Even though I didn't want to crop the barrel on the 5, still felt getting the classic was a little redundant.
Differences besides the sights, trigger (fantastic), stock (very nice), and trigger guard, include: safety (nice);
butplate (very nice); and what appears to be a beefed up mount stop screw. Anyway, I like,,glad I got it.
Click on pellets.

All I know is I Love my 34 Panther in .22! It's one gun that will be with me until I'm in the ground,he he,,and even then I may leave a little space for her as the Big Man upstairs would probably enjoy a fine 34 Panther as well,lol.
Thanks
