My 1987 Vintage Diana M48 With PG2 Kit & Custom 1 0f 6 only Leupold 3-9X EFR

She is an oldie but a goody
Had a chance today to do a couple shots at some mice that are in my wood pile in the back yard
I use to have my own custom guide & tune up in this girl but after many many years (14) to be exact.. LoL needed a rebuild.

I do not have my machine shop anymore so went ahead & ordered one of Tom's PG2 kits for her back last year
She shoots every bit as good as the custom setup I had in her & still glassy smooth. It did seem to be a bit easier to cock today. I think I must break out the Chrony & give her a run through tonight.

The Custom Leupold 3-9X EFR you see on her is one of only 6 made for prizes at the 1998 California 100 FT competition that I was fortunate enough to win. Just a plain old good fashion work horse she is.  I can never really get enough of shooting her. Not sure why all the changes to triggers over the years as this one is just fine!.

She is like am old trusty friend to me. I remember the day I got her. I was so excited!
Being that I lived in Canada at the time & one needed to have an FAC license to own anything over 500fps, I was totally use to shooting air guns to that velocity. .22cals around 7-8ft/lbs
The first shot I took with her,  I remember like it was yesterday & the sound of that pellet hitting with the additional 11 or so ft/lbs energy had me sold on magnum air rifles instantly! & forever!... LoL

Very nice! Looking forward to some chrony numbers. Going to PG2 my brothers 48 this weekand. Congrats on that scope. How do you like it? I got a 3-9x33EFR for my TX. Just got to set it up if I can ever put my 52 down .

No I do not live in Cali.
I use to travel all over this country back before kids hitting all the FT match's I could
One year I drove over 20,000 miles in a super charged cougar to FT match's from East Coast to West Coast as far south as Florida & as far North as Minnesota!
What a year that was. Just absolutely AWESOME
The camaraderie at FT match's is second to none!
