I like the idea and it works, and great for those who do not tinker....that counts me out
I got one and took the tube measurements and made a 2 piece shroud. I can still take my barrel out with the two set screws that hold the barrel in. I can still use my LDC which is a tad quieter then the QE shroud. And looks great I think?

Thanks Ron, I think that its more the look as the LDC does all the work... And this design makes it easy to take the barrel off for cleaning without having to use special tools to do so.

Well I have decide on what to do with the rest of the shroud that I cut up, going to make a screw on LDC out of it, The top screws off and the bottom will come off with set screws. I will not use the baffles that it came with, I think that my design is a tad bit more quite. Will be on the market when done
