I am kinda nervous to do so. I worry if i mess it up in any way or form, then i got to wait on parts yada yada yada, but at the same time, i do want to do it so if there is ever a time for me to diagnose or solve a problem, more than likely, i can/will
Dieseling, that which creates the smoke, doesn't hurt your rifle. It's the rifle's way of eliminating excess lube in the compression chamber. Keep shooting and enjoy it. RC

Any chance you're smelling lead vapor? Never gave it much thought before but it may be possible that combustion may cause very small amounts of lead vapors. That's not good.
As stated...open her up and clean it out...HW/Beemans are known to be swimming in lube...as opposed to RWS being dry as a bone.Happy Shootin!Petey
