I'm considering getting an OPTIMA scope, 3-12x44 AOE. Anyone here have one of these? If so, how do you like it? And can you post a pic of the reticle?
Thanks.

I have an Optima 3-9X40AO mil dot scope on my Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1(.22) I got from Amazon for $40. I really like it. It is much clearer and brighter plus the ability to focus to the correct distance it is a HUGE step up from the included 3-9X40 Gamo scope (NON AO). I've not had it long but it was on my shadow whisper (.177) for a couple weeks before putting it on my mach 1 .22. I've probably shot at least 500 with it and it seems like it is going to hold up well. I'm definitely shooting much better groups too. I have a second one coming for my shadow whisper, hard to go back to a stock Gamo scope after using the Optima.

Mine is also a 3-9x40 from a friend for my Icon... wow only 40$ on amazon...think my buddy's nephew paid more than that...Nice clear glass only about a pound...this one has only been on a Hatsan PCP and My Icon so no idea how it holds up on a springer... at 40$ a better deal than the Tasco air rifle scopes and the Winchester air rifle scopes...

I had one as part of a Hatsan bundle. Worst scope ever made!
Not sure if it is the same, but the ones that come on Hatsans are pure junk.

Have to agree with Yogi.
I have had a few of them and they are junk on a springer. You can get by with it on a co2/ pcp.
You would think that Hatsan would put a springer rated scope on their airguns.
If you use any scope on a springer use a good one piece mount that will help it live a little longer.

Every Ultima I ever got bundled with a springer didn't even come close to out living a tin of pellets.
If I get one these days, they go on C02, pumpers or cheap PCP guns.

They have a bad reputation on springers. Might be okay on PCP or co2 guns. Why buy one, there are plenty of better scopes.
